FC Dallas Sign Former North Texas SC Trialist Tomas Podeca

FC Dallas continue their youth movement from North Texas SC going! FC Dallas have signed 22 year old attacker Tomas Podeca from their MLS Next Pro side. Podeca played a variety of positions in 2023 from North Texas; attacking midfielder, right winger, left winger, and even some striker. But in his roughly 1,200 minutes played for the 3rd division club, Podeca scored 4 goals and had 2 assists.

Podeca seems like a player that will feature once again for North Texas SC in 2024. I don’t think we see the young attacker featuring over MLS veterans like Sebastian Lletget, Paxton Pomykal, or Paul Arriola. And with other names on the roster such as Eugene Ansah, Bernard Kamungo, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, and Dante Sealy… Podeca seems to have a lot of depth in front of him. I have hope for his future and for an even better 2024 MLS Next Pro campaign with North Texas.
