New England Revolution Re-Sign Winger Emmanuel Boateng

The New England Revolution have re-signed winger Emmanuel Boateng ahead of the 2024 MLS season. The 29 year old MLS veteran will remain with New England after joining them in 2021. Boateng’s time with New England has gone well, highlighted by winning a Supporters’ Shield in 2021. Boateng has been within MLS since 2016 and in that time has played in 216 games between the LA Galaxy, New England Revolution, Columbus Crew, and D.C. United. In those games he has scored 18 goals and recorded 22 assists, winning MLS Cup in 2020 with the Crew.

Boateng re-joins the Revolution forming the winger group of; Dylan Borrero, Tomas Chancalay, Nacho Gil, Esmir Bajraktarevic, Damien Rivera, Malcolm Fry, and now Boateng. I expect Boateng to be a nice depth piece for Caleb Porter behind the likes of Borrero, Chancalay, and Gil. He now reunites with Porter, who he did win MLS Cup with back in Columbus.
